Ten minutes on the car shop dummy, then leave for the real fight.

Warmup Routine

A warmup is not a second main session. It is a short, boring, identical block you run so the first fight of the night is not your first click of the day. The short clip in the middle of this page is a 360 demo to watch once — your warmup is still the ten-minute block below, not a trickshot. Use this page with the players hub and the drill rankings. If you have never found the dummy, do Getting Started once, then come back.

The ten-minute block

Minute 0–1 — settings. Shift lock on. Same sensitivity as last night. If you are tempted to tweak, wait until after the block and use sensitivity setup.

Minute 1–3 — static chest. Twenty shots, no movement. Count hits out loud. Under 14/20: stop the warmup and run how to improve aim instead of queuing.

Minute 3–6 — AD tracking. Dummy still, you strafe. Twenty shots. This is the real gunfight.

Minute 6–8 — slow 360s. Five orbits with no shot, five with one shot on re-center. If you cannot finish the circle, open how to spin and skip the queue.

Minute 8–10 — peek shots. Glass corner, one bullet, hide. Ten reps. Then leave the experience.

Do not add jump 360s to a warmup. That is a main-session C-tier drill.

Before a ranked night

Run this block on the same device you will play the real game on. A PC warmup does not warm a mobile thumb. Wear the outfit you will fight in only for the last two minutes — loadout rankings explain why huge hats belong off during the first eight.

There is no dedicated party, so if the dummy is crowded, hop once. A warmup that becomes a 1v1 is not a warmup.

After the warmup

Close SpinPractices. Do not “one more clip.” Queue the real match. If you feel worse after the block, you overspun or you changed sense. Log it on the leaderboard private table.

Longer days

If you have thirty minutes, run this warmup, then one main drill from how to play, then stop. The practice planner can hold that split so you do not invent a new plan in the parking lot.

What to skip during warmup

  • Codes menu. Nothing is live. See codes.
  • Script menus. See script safety.
  • Wall-rifle tourism.
  • Chat arguments about who is cheating.

Weekend version

If you have not touched a mouse in three days, add five extra minutes of static groups before the tracking block. Do not add them at the end. Cold hands miss 360s and then you “fix” sense, which is how weekend players destroy a weekday setting. Keep the same sensitivity you used Friday.

If you only have six minutes, run static plus tracking and skip spins. A short honest warmup beats a rushed 360 that tilts you into the first real fight. The dummy will still be here tomorrow; the ranked queue will not wait for a perfect circle.

Travel or a different PC is a new warmup, not a continuation. Log the machine on the leaderboard table so you do not mix laptop sense with desktop sense.

Controls if shift lock failed during minute 0. Updates if the dummy broke. Guides hub for the full how-to tree. Players hub for the sibling leaderboard page. Practice planner if the warmup is turning into a full session and you need a clock that actually ends.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for SpinPractices sessions, settings, and drills.

Can I warmup inside the real PvP game instead?

You can. This trainer exists so the dummy does not shoot back while you find your sense.

Is ten minutes enough?

Yes for a warmup. Longer is a training session — use how to play.

Should I spin the whole time?

No. Static and strafe first. Spins are the last third.

What if I fail the static check?

Do not queue. Fix aim or sense first.

Can I warmup in a crowded server?

Hop once. A contested dummy is not a warmup, it is noise.
